Pool is crystal clear, I have a Hayward puck feeder and I can not keep my chlorine levels up. I’ve even stuck a floater in the water with some 3” pucks and still won’t keep them at the levels. I dumped 3 gal of 10% liquid and res tested next morning and still low.

Took,water to have tested in case my Taylor kit is bad I was doing something wrong. I know my Calcium and Alkalinity is low but would that keep my free chlorine levels from dissipating?

Free Chlorine = 0.18
Total Chlorine = 0.36
Combined Chlorine = 0.18
PH = 7.1
Calcium Hardness = 61
Total Alkalinity = 41
CYA = 66
Phosphates = 43

Show us the test results from your Taylor test kit.

If your alkalinity if from pool store testing then it is not low since Pool Stores give you an adjusted alkalinity. That is one of the reasons you cannot mix TFP methods with Pool store testing.

What type of pool?

Do a Overnight Chlorine Loss Test and check if you have algae in your clear water.
