Guys

As a pool maintanance person i get to see many pools and in some of them i see the incorrect sizing of pumps and filters and most of filter pressure gauges have three colours on them that are green,yellow and red.


Even after bachwashing the filters some gauges are green,some are yellow and some are red.

So what are these colors telling us?

So what are these colors telling us?

Not much, even if the gauge is actually accurate. Those colors are more for a convenience to the homeowner as a simple visual aid. Here at TFP we encourage our members to make note of their filter'[s clean (starting) pressure as a baseline, then do a cleaning once the psi has increased by about 25%.
