When I opened my pool this past weekend I thought the pressure gauge was reading zero, but upon closer inspection I noticed that it’s actually pegged at the max. Should I have removed it when I closed the pool?
Looks like a GREAT excuse to purchase a 30 psi gauge that needs less squinting. It's a first world problem and i wouldn't have gone out of my way about it, but given the excuse........
I did the same thing with our pool. I had a DE filter on my last pool that came indoors so the guage lasted 20byears. New poo with a sand filter l and it didn't last a year being outside. Ordered new one and as was said I took it off for winter. Screws off and on easily.
