Quick question (hopefully),
My husband and I are purchasing a home that has a pool already installed. The homeowner told me that the pressure booster pump for the Polaris wasn’t working but that they decided to switch over to a robot to clean the pool. Are there any particular reasons to replace the pump if I use a robot instead?

Only if you like throwing money out the widow. If you do, please tell me when and which window and I’ll come visit. 😁

But on a serious note, the robot cleans far better and uses almost none of the electricity to do it. Many folks don’t want to throw out a perfectly working system when they realize there is a better way, but your booster pump / vac didn’t cost you a thing.

if the Polaris is in good shape it will fetch a pretty penny on FB market place / CL / OfferUp
