Hi All, hope everyone in the colder states is having a smooth start to pool season! When I went to open my pool for the season, I noticed the water was quite a bit lower than usual, especially given the rain we’ve had. After getting it all filled up, I’m realizing that I seem to be losing more water than what could be attributed to regular spillage.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to track the source of a potential leak somewhere in the pool? Everything seems to be running properly otherwise.
As food for thought, I took out the pool light towards the end of last season to replace it. I got it all put back in but I’m not entirely sure if it’s perfectly sealed in the same way it was originally. Could I be losing water through that opening or is that likely totally sealed off behind the light anyways?
