I have never had Iron staining and have been here 15 years. Now back up to last Spring when I had new pebble plaster installed and the brick coping replaced with stone. Then in the Fall the contractor said the glaze coat of plaster didn't come off the pebble and acid washed it..Well while it was empty we had a few heavy rains and it looked horrible, rust stains everywhere..Refilled and added chlorine thinking it was organic and leaves and then determined it was Iron.
Added Vitamin C and Jacks stuff and it's been clear every since.
Now I did ask Dr google and some sites suggest Stone can contain Lead..True or False?
