Possible cracks, weird discoloration.

Had the house/pool for two months. Pool was built 14 years ago. We noticed what appeared to be old crack lines and the inspector didn’t find anything abnormal. Recently however, I’ve noticed some discoloration near the lines. Going to get a pro out soon to see what they think but thought I would start here. Any thoughts are appreciated.

How many crack lines do you have like that? How long are they?

They look deeper and longer then the typical craze cracks you find in plaster. Hard to say if it is indicative of a problem with the gunite cracking underneath.

If the pool is not leaking water I would just start saving for a replaster. 14+ years is a good plaster lifespan. At some point in the next few years your pool will need it.

@onBalance may have some thoughts.
