PoolMath question

Okay last year there was a page on here that you could put in what your test results were and what your goal results were and it would tell you how much of something you need to add to reach your goal. I can't find that page now. Is it still available? I have seen where there is a new app you can download. Did this replace the other thing I am thinking about and if so I have a few questions on how to use it.....

What all do you need to track.....it gives you the option to track....

CSI, Salt, Borates, Water Temperture, Combined Chlorine, Flow Rate, Filter Pressure

I'm assuming I need to track all of them except Salt, correct?

I was used to the previous page I was talking about but after looking at the app I think it will be interesting and useful too. I just put up a brand new pool over the weekend so when do you all think I should run my first set of tests? It's supposed to rain all week so I doubt we will be getting in it anytime soon and for now I have a cover over it (can't seem to find a GOOD cover that will stay on when the wind blows.....lol) so wasn't sure when I should run my first tests.

Thanks,

Tamitha

Is this what you’re looking for? PoolMath - Trouble Free Pool

Personally looking at your pool the only thing I’d track long term is maybe the water temp. All the rest really aren’t vital to an Above Ground Pool. Only other items are maybe salt (if you have a SWG) or Borates (if you add them). All the rest just ignore. Those are there for users who really wish to “geek out” and track every part of their pools, but they’re not vital in many cases. Personally, I too only track Temps. ?

Your link took me to the current one.....the page that shows the app, not the old one. However KandTFromPhx that replied after you shared a link and it's the one from the original page I was talking about. I'm all into apps so I'm going to try the app but wanted to know if the original one was still available and where just in case I want to fall back to using it....lol

Thanks

Sorry...realized that after seeing the other posts. I’m new here.??‍♀️ The app was easier for me to use. Hope you like it, too!

Old page can be found here.
PoolMath I use the app now. Absolutely love it. But you will want to pay the $8 to get full function.

That is the one I was talking about. Thanks! I do like apps so I will probably try to the app but wanted the original one just in case....lol Also is the $8 a one time fee or a monthly fee? And what does it have that the basic one doesn't have? Thanks!

Guess I'll need to get some kind of thermometer to check the temps then huh???? LOL

You’re not horribly far from me so I’ll tell ya the temps, cold and rainy. ??‍♂️ Saved ya a few bucks on a thermometer. ??

The $8 subscription is for one year.
With the subscription, the app stores your test and chemical additions log, lets you share the data here on the forum, etc. Without the subscription, you can enter test data and get chemical additions but nothing is saved.

Oh okay.....well I would like to keep it saved to look back on if ever needed and $8 for a year....that's well worth it.

Thanks!
