PoolMath App questions

I have purchased the PoolMath App. It's great. I also purchased the TF-100 test kit. My question is about the "Ideal" and "Recommended" ranges in the app vs. some values in the Test Kit instructions. Some don't align very well.

Any insight to this would be appreciated. What should I set my "targets" to?

Just to clarify, what you gave me says Total Alkalinity has a range of 50 - 90 acceptable min to max. The Test Kit instructions say that 100 -120 is good for "normal pools".
