Pool wall type for liner pool

I would prefer cinder block walls that cannot rust.

Is this DIY ? I'm east of you in Suffolk county and they do poured concrete here. Basically they pour a house foundation that will last forever and drop a liner in it.

For my first pool I wanted a forever pool and went concrete. 10 years later when we moved and were building again, the 25+ years of a steel wall pool was effectively a forever pool as far as I cared. :ROFLMAO: But when I priced them out, the steel wall pool wasn't any savings like it used to be, so we went concrete again for pool #2.

No, this is not DIY. My pool builder is offering cinderblock walls or steel walls for the same price. Unsure which option to choose. This is a liner pool. 14x28

If a true professional installs them, to best construction practices, I have zero concern.

If Harry Homeowner bought his first wheelbarrow and shovel and had a go learning on the fly...... not so much.
