Pool wall question

We bought our house about 6 years ago. There is an in ground pool that has a wood deck over a concrete deck. The deep end wall had settled before we moved in. I have kept track of the coping since moving in. There doesn’t appear to be any new settling during our time here. The pool is at least 15 years old.

One pool person said we need to do extensive repair. Another said just replace liner and it will look wonky but is stable.

We will have to replace the liner this year. I have wondered about completely removing the wood deck and trying to repair concrete. But I’m not sure what our choices are.

Any ideas or suggestions? My husband has removed part of deck to do repairs. So you can see the concrete slopes.

When you remove the liner you will be able to assess the deep end wall structure and determine if it is stable or needs to be reinforced. You never know what the condition of the walls will be until you remove the liner.

Removing the wood deck will give you a better view of what is going on with the pool structure. Again you will not know what you may find until you go looking.

Thank you!
