Pool wall Foam Double Up?

I'm installing an 18ft Round and I have extra wall foam from a family member. Can I run Two courses of Foam around wall?
I dont see this causing any issues, just wondering what the consensus is on this idea.

I would wonder if they would slide against each other? Could that then pull on the liner? I don't know just speculating here.....

i would glue the second row onto the first row..

I can't see it causing any issues, but then I also don't see much in the way of benefits either.

I too would spray glue the second layer to the first - at least lightly. I doubt it will shift when the liner is in and pool is full, but it will likely shift WHILE putting in the liner, and then you will have permanent wrinkles.

Not a fan of wall foam if it is a metal wall pool. Just another way to trap moisture leading to rust.

Any moisture that is trapped by the foam would have been trapped by the liner anyway.

Having said that, I have wall foam, and I think it is pretty useless.
