Any suggestions on a good pool timer. just looking for a simple one that runs 12on, 12off or whatever is best recommended. all my details are in signature below. we are soon to be installing a salt system, Circupool RJ-60+ and the instructions given are shown with a timer set-up. thx for your help.

Hookup the two 220V hot wires to the line screws and the pump and SWG power to the load screws. Connect together the #12 green ground wires and a pigtail to the timer ground screw.

The Intermatic T 104R. Very easy to hook up and operate. I have 2 of them connected to my gadgets.
The R means the enclosure is rated for outdoors.

The T104R is what I have and others on TFP have been using. I looked up both the R and the R3 on the intermatic website and the only difference I can tell from the specs provided, is the R3 has a "heater protection" whatever that means. Either will work.
