Pool/Spa combination valves

I have a combo pool/spa controlled by a Pentair Intellitouch. The actuators for suction and return are both seized. The indoor control panel is gone. I have replaced the actuators and set the cams so that the suction goes to spa with return on spa. Also the valves go to pool suction with return to pool. This is working when the outdoor panel is in service and I set the panel to spa and pool respectively. There is a spillover waterfall that will only come on if I manually put the switch on the return valve to spa with the pool on suction.
When I replace the indoor Intellitouch panel I understand it will pick up the existing program from the outdoor panel.
I do remember that the spillover used to be active so I’m not sure if it’s in programming on filtration or if I have to adjust the return valve position with the cams in the actuator?
Please let me know your thoughts.

Please show us several pics of your equipment pad, so we can get you pointed in the right direction.

There are three ways to operate a spa spillover..

1. A make-up system build into the plumbing.
2. By offsetting the Return valve so that the spa always gets a little water in the spa mode.
3. By programming the "Spillway" function in the IntelliTouch.
