We are building a new L shaped pool. (First timers). Our backyard is huge pie shaped (about 1/2 acre). Are these dimensions reasonable for actual swim area. We looking for relaxation, play and some exercise as well. Sizes are 16X43 shallow area and 15x33 (1/2 of this is deep area).
In the shallow area (16x43) we have the tanning ledge one end and spa in the other end which reduces the length (swim space) to 26. Just don’t want it to be too small and regret later. Also we wanted it aligning to the length of the house so these dimensions. But now wondering if that’s even important.
Is that a fair length? At our home, that shallow area will be used the most. Please advice
