Hey guys. What do you think about this quote. 1970s gunite pool. Main drain has been disconnected for years, water only pulls at the one skimmer. Contractor wants to put pavers over my somewhat cracked concrete deck, will that work or does decking need to be removed and re-poured.

Price Drain Pool and Spa. Inspect all surfaces after three (3) days of the pool being empty, Mark hollow/loose areas and cracks. Notify the homeowner of additional costs.
1. NOTE (In case of delamination over 50% on the existing resurface a full chip-out will have to be done. The fullchip-out price for the top layer of hollow plaster is $2,50 per SQF. For an additional layer is $1.00 each layer per SQF.In the case of three (3) existing layers, a full chip-out of all layers is required before installing the new resurface.
2. Demo / Prep. Chip around drains, fittings, and lights. Acid Wash, Pressure Wash, and Apply Scratch Coat 2000 Bond Coat. Base prices include up to 10% of hollow areas. Additional hollow areas will require a change order. $2,200.00

5. Remove and replace one skimmer. $1,350.00
6. Saw cut 12’’ around the pool perimeter and demo Approx. 110 LF of the existing concrete coping around the pool $1,000.00 Edge and make room for the new coping.
7. New Main Drain (Saw cut the pool shell, run a new 2.5’’ plumbing to the equipment, repour concrete, and get it $2,300.00 Connected to the pool equipment.
8. Pressure Test all the pool lines. $900.00
9. Install Approx. 650 SQF of 1’’ regular overlay Paver Patio. $9,800.00 Option of Travertine/Marble paver patio.$12,500.

Pool Start-up (Once the new pebble/plaster finish is done, and the pool is filled with water, start the curing process of the fresh Finish, the water PH must be kept low with chemicals, and the fresh pebble surface must be brushed for the next three. Weeks. Once this process is done, the pool is ready for regular service. $800.00
