I'm building a small in ground concrete pool.
What size pump would i need ?!?! I THINK i figured everything out and need less than 10 gpm.

Was looking at a Pentair single speed 1/2hp BUT started thinking i may need a 3/4hp. I have to remind myself that bigger is not always better.
I'l have one skimmer and 2 returns. Will use an (electric) robot.

any suggestions are appreciated and feel free to be specific ! lol

How many gallons amd what size L x W. With a simple pool you dont need much. It might be worth it to get a 2 speed or an affordable VS pump so you can run on low mostly. On a small pool I install a 2nd suction point below skimmer it's easy to lose enough water to have pump suck air. Auto fill becomes handy and make provisions to be able go drain whether manually with valves or a gravity. Heavy rains fill small pools fast and cannonballs empty them quick

Sorry !! Thought I put that.

just under 4000g. 8.5ftx13ftx 4.5 deep.
Will have a small tanning shelf that will not have a return on. (I know we’ll have to clean it)
