Hi all, i have a problem that has escaped diagnosis so far. I have a very simple schedule -- pool, waterfall and spillway (from spa) run from 8 am to 8 pm every day.. this is what I confirmed via laptop version of Screenlogic (since the iphone app is sometimes flaky with schedule changes). Roughly once a day, sometimes twice (but not often), the pool pump will randomly revv up - like its on high speed.. this lasts for a couple mins max, sometimes under a minute - i can hear some gurgling like an air bubble getting through the pool return, then pump calms down to the 1700 rpm i have set it for. Granted pool level is higher than normal because we are in the tropical storm season in Florida. It seems to happen more often in the evenings before sunset but there is no definite time, and yesterday it happened in the morning. It almost feels like an air bubble type thing maybe, pump loses its priming and revvs up?? Has anybody experienced this issue, and any known fixes? It started a few months ago. TYIA for your help!

Pentair Intelliflow VSF. I have set it to 1700 rpm.. it revvs up to perhaps 2800 for maybe a minute, a gurgle from a pool return, and back to 1700.
