Pool plaster issues

Hi, we just renovated our pool in January. We used CL industry krystalkrete in royal blue. It has been darker than we thought it would be, however I have adjusted to the color. I don’t feel like it ever got brushed adequately by the PB. I expressed my concerns to him, but he assure me it would be fine. We are talking between 1-3 times per week. Everywhere I read it should be 2 times per day for about 3 weeks. The pool was filled at the end of January. I took pics today of the white blotchy areas. Is this normal and will it get better? What should I expect of the PB? Drain and replaster or will chemicals fix this? Is this a result of not being brushed adequately?

Welcome to TFP.

@onBalance this look like white spotting to you or is this plaster dust that has selttled?

It does look like the "White Spotting" issue, but I am not sure.
Use some 100 grit Wet&Dry sandpaper and see how easy or hard it is to restore the dark color. If possible, look very close to the surface and it is possible to see if the surface has a very think layer of white scale on top and sands off easily, or that the surface is somewhat porous and does not darken easily.
