I replaced the manifold, trisensor and PPC4 cell this year. I did not change wire since amps seem good.
I am running the cell 16 hrs a day using auto % setting, power level 1 @ 20v 5 amps, about 75%-100%.
Salt 3500 PPM
Chlorine test using Taylor Tech R-0870 is 2.5 ppm.
I had been run VS pump at 1400 rpm for16 hrs. Just bumped it to18 hrs.

4-6 Hrs sun
Water temp 78-82
Ph 7.4
TA 110
CYA 60
Water is clear.
Cell is clean
Dig 220 set for PPC4 cell

This cell is rated for 60K pool. Mine is 33K. I never had to run the cell this long and not still not get 3-4 PPM Cl. I have to add LC to compensate. No heavy chlorine demand. In the past I ran the PPC4 cell Power level 2, 1400 rpm for only 9 hrs to get 3-4 PPM Cl.

Everything seems to be running ok but the runtime seems long compared to the past. I realize Level 1 makes less and would need more time. I wanted to go to Level 2 but was advised it will wear out faster and should stay at 1. Am I missing something? Raise RPMs although cant see that helping. Any suggestions. Maybe this is normal for Pool Pilot Level 1. Should I raise to Level 2?

The cell will wear the same if you run Level 1 longer or Level 2 less. It is up to you.

Pump RPM makes no difference in SWG output if cell is generating.
