Pool opening regrets $$$

Last summer, with the help of this amazing community, I opened my pool by myself. This season I felt lazy and thought 'Hey, at least I proved I COULD do it'... but, I decided to have a company open for me. Well, I just got the invoice and it cost $950!!!! Gah! lesson learned.

I mean. If you make $475 an hour after taxes and would rather work than open the pool.......... you'd break even at least.

You'd still put more care into it tho.

I feel ya. I toyed with letting the looploc cover people close my pool when installing the cover. They quoted me $700 something extra and I didn't hear the 'something' part because I actually spit my drink at the 'seven hun' part.

And even after the large bill, my SWG says 'no flow' despite high VSP setting. I need to hit the TFP archives
