Pool Newbie installing Omnilogic panel

I just got off of the phone with Hayward tech support because neither the manual for the Omnilogic nor my tristar VS 900 are very clear about where the low voltage wires are supposed to be connected the panel. After a 45 minute hold I was told that the pump connects to the "comm port". I don't see anything labeled comm port, though there are multiple comm busses (he said that they were not the comm port). He was unable to give me the location and said I would have top speak with a sales rep. Does anyone here know?

Hi, welcome to TFP! I personally cannot help with your problem, but I will try to locate someone who can. Seems pretty odd the tech support folks couldn't help!

Hi Luke! Welcome to TFP.

I'm by no means a pump exert, but did recently upgrade to a different brand of VS pump, though did not integrate it communication wise. However, i believe the Comm port is usually on the controller backside...so I checked Hayward's manual and found this schema...hope it helps!

-- Assuming you meant the comm port on the VS...and. I May be In error. Is that what you meant?

- Maybe take a pic of your pump controller/interface options and post it to see if others can help!

When installed, it may have been bolted to the top of the pump, so its possible you need to unbolt it to access the port.
