Hi @Leebo,
I noticed a discrepancy between the "overview" screen and "effects of adding" screen.

If I have a Ph of 8 and I want to reduce it to 7.4, a reduction of 0.6, the overview screen tells me to add 20 fl.oz of Muriatic Acid.

However, I I use the "effects of adding" screen and I add 20 fl.oz of Muriatic acid it tells me it will reduce the Ph by 0.3

Going from my actual results I thing the overview screen is giving a lower number than it should.

Am I crazy and missing something obvious?

Thanks

It has to do with the TA. The Effects of Adding is not using the current TA in the calculation. To be honest, you should not use Effects for seeing pH changes.
@Leebo -- you see any issues here?

It looks like a simple arithmetic error to me. I have tried a few numbers and it always evens to be 1/2 the value of the “effects of adding“ screen.

thanks for the info.
