I had to use a air compressor and dish soap in order to pull the replacement pool light through the conduit. This idea was given on this site and it worked. There was no other way to pull it. I had quite a bit of soap get into the pool. It’s clear now and looks great but should I be concerned about any soap residue in the pool water ?

Chlorine will break down the surfactants in dish soap.
Just keep an eye on your FC levels. You may need to add more chlorine for a while.
