Pool ladder post, how to remove!

I have two pool ladder post I would like to remove. Was thinking of using an angle grinder to cut down. Then I run the risk of people cutting their feet on the edges. Any suggestions?

Use a Dremel and smooth out the edges of the cut into the hole.

Since it seems you will not be using once cut/dremeled - fill with hydraulic cement to smooth the deck.

Use a Dremel tool to cut it from the inside, about 1/2 inch down. Then pull that top out and fill the hole.
