Hey everyone, so I'm new here and I'm looking to get on top of my pool now that it is in high usage during the summer. Previously it was used occasionally, but we have people staying all summer this year and it's already looking worse for it (cloudy and low FC).
I have a week with nobody staying over next week, so I'm looking to SLAM it back into shape and then keep an eye on it like a hawk.
Can anyone recommend a test kit that's available here? I see Taylor kits recommended, but they are not commonly available. I also see that they only measure up to 5ppm FC so are they still useful for SLAM testing?
Any other pointers/thoughts welcome. Our climate during the summer is 90f daytime and 77f nighttime constantly with a humidity of 75%. My pool is in an area exposed to wind and debris, mainly pine trees.
