Pool Heater - What is the typical water temp increase?

Heater is an older Raypak RP2100.

Water Temp in 77F
Water Temp out 86F

Does this seem right? Thanks.

9 - 12 degrees difference on a gas heater is normal. Lower than that means too much flow going through the heater. Higher than that usually means low flow. There are issues with too high and too low flow conditions, which should be explained in your owners manual.
