Hi everyone,

I have browsed through the forums and was wondering if there was a calculator for how to run my VSP pump with pool heater. I have a 200K BTU Hayward heater with 12k gallon pool. 2" plumbing. I was wondering how many RPMS I should run my pump while this is on.

Thanks!

What pump do you have?

Probably around 2000 rpms will work. The heater output flange should feel warm to the touch, not hot. If it feels hot increase the RPMs and flow.

Thanks - I just made a signature. I was running it at 2400RPM but I wasn't sure if that was the correct amount. Also when I turn it off it seems to want to turn back on and I get an error code.
