Pool fencing for semi inground

Trying to iron out the details of our pool plan. We have 2 small kids (3.5 and 6.5 years old) as well as an older labrador retriever and a Boston terrier puppy. We are building a deck off the back of our house that will lead to the pool, and will all be on the same level. The pool will be buried halfway to achieve that. We are trying to figure out a visually pleasing way to keep the kids and animals out of the pool when we arent also out there. I dont mind the look of the above ground fencing that goes all the way around the pool, but because we are decking I'm not sure how that would work, plus the structure on semi ingrounds is different.
We already have a fully fenced yard for the pool regulations in our area but I want extra protection for our kids and to keep the dogs out (especially since we plan on having a solar cover on when we arent using it)
I've attached a picture of our general plan. The white is the deck, the light grey is an existing concrete patio we are decking over and the darker blue is the hot tub we already have. We are on the fence about the walk in steps because of the expense (are they worth it?) And if it was easier to fence without those, they'be gone for sure. Thoughts, ideas??
Thanks so much!

share a pic of the area looking at the house and from the house. See if you can paint the ground to show us where the pool and deck will be going. I like the fence Allen posted to! We can help you decide where to put it for the safety of your 2 and 4 legged kids!

We just got a boatload of snow last night, but I will try to upload some pictures. Right now there isnt much to see!
I looked at that fence and thought i could run it from the house over to the stairs that will go to the yard. Can it be put into composite decking?

Sure, they just drill small round pilot holes for the poles to go in to from what I could tell. Probably a small doo-dad goes in the hole but it will be level with the surface of the deck and probably pretty discrete looking.

Depends how solidly attached to the ground the composite decking is. What surface is under the decking?

They have various anchors of different lengths depending on what type of surface it is going into. The anchors need to be deep enough and secure enough that the fence posts will not pull out or lean over if a person pushed on them.
