Pool dug in wrong spot

They used their bobcat and one of those vibrating tamping machines (person pushing around like a lawnmower). I do know they were doing this section all day... approx 7’x51’
question is, what should of been done?
was told this am “this is more compacted that the fresh cut, you’ll never have settling problems” and then I come home to this unaware. Poor communication doesn’t ho the matter.

I have to take issue with their compacting technique. I don't think a push plate compactor is going to do the job. When the used fill for my pool they compacted it by hammering it with the bucket of the backhoe (a big one). 25 years later we've had no issues.

Yours is falling apart already!
