We have a 6" gap between our pool deck and existing stamped concrete walkway. In addition, the concrete is 3" higher than the pool, causing a tripping hazard. My solution is to fill the gap with gravel, sand, paver then build a brench that follows the curve of the hot tub. Lastly, I'll stucco and paint it. I think it's a good solution and gives an area to place towels. Too many creepy crawlies to plant ground cover. Any other solution suggestions? The rest of the gap will be filled with turf. 1000000160.jpgout there?

Sorry, typo. 7 means nothing. I plan to fill the gap and build a bench two blocks high and approximately ten feet long on the curve with a cap. The block will butt up against the stamped concrete, eliminating the 3" step up.
