Pool Deck cement sealant

Not really under construction, pool has been built a while back but it's new to me. I had some work done in the backyard next to the existing pool and contractor suggested to add cement sealant to the deck because texture attracts dirt like magnet, he suggested a sealant which is glossy but I am concerned that it will be too slippery .
Do you guys have any suggestions for a product which will not end up with a glossy/slippery finish ?

Ask the contractor for references where he has sealed concrete like he proposes to do with yours and then call them and ask if what they think and if you can drop by and look at it.

I doubt you will get any references.
