I recently moved from Houston where I had a Pebble Tec pool. Now, I live in the Albany NY area and have a vinyl liner in my pool. Does the liner impact the level of chemicals I add to the pool? Does the liner impact the level of borates I add to the pool?

The pool is currently very clear. My current numbers are:
FC - 1
TA - 90
CH -250
pH - 7.4
CYA - 33

The only difference is that there is no need for calcium. Other than that, no difference.

BTW- your FC is way too low. You should be targeting 12-15% of your CYA, and never falling below 7.5%

Your TA will find its happy place, pH will be the factor. If you find that your pH is somewhat stable, don't fret over the TA number. If you find yourself adding acid to lower pH, the acid will also lower TA until you find that happy place.

You should be more concerned with that FC to CYA ratio.
