So I'm going to sink a couple pressure treated 4x4's with some cross member for mounting my GFI, manual toggle disconnects and any other future equipment. Any opinions on good place for this around pad? As you can see( partially my set up is pump is closet to trench, them filter then gas heater closest to fence.

Also not sure why the pool guys stubbed up the pool light conduits at that location. I guess I"ll also need to extend(I will cut them down) them to the frame I'm building. Do they get wired to a switch?

BTW I work for an electrical contractor( not as an electrician..lol) and my bro in law is a commercial electrician.

Congrats on the progress !!

The electrical supply house sells pre-made H-frames and thats what my guys used.

*edit. Maybe you meant where you should put it, not where to buy. Lol. My bad. It doesnt matter where it goes. Pick a spot with plenty of access that you wont mind seeing it, or a spot you can hide behind an equipment shed if you build one.

I would put it on the end of the pad that is facing you. Then it's next to your lighting stubouts. Then you have a short watertight flex to the pump and can run Sched 4 back down and around the back to where you would come back up for the heater watertight flex. That or put it up against the fence behind the slab, probably centered. But that leaves your light stubouts a ways away. Then you can put your upside down junction boxes (whatever they are called) on each stub and then go back down from each to the power panel at the back.

Put a pool light junction box on the light conduit as is. Do not cut it down as you want it to be above any possible pool water level.

Then run conduit from the junction box to light switch and power.

Code allows only four 90's in conduit to pool light, and you don't know how many are there.

Are lights low voltage or 120V?

I think they are low voltage. Not sure yet. I was talking about cutting the conduit down to where it turns up and extending to a different location. Still would have same bends.

You sure the buried conduit points in the direction you want to take it?

The longer you make the conduit the more difficult the wire pull.

Are exactly are those lights controlled? From that box? How?

So there are three separate three conduits for my lights. I have 3 lights. Why are there three and they did not combine to one?
Would I have one switch or three to control each? Thanks
Each light has it's own wire home run to a box that's mounted on top of those pipes. Most likely low voltage set up. All that is missing there is pipe #4 which will go to the power supply to feed the three lights.

It is optional. It can be set up to have 1 switch control all 3 or have individual switches (useful if you have a spa and want to control the spa light separately from the pool lights).
Do the lights turn colors? There may be a dedicated controller for the lights to select colors.
Are you installing the lights or is the PB (contractor)?

I'm a little confused how to mount this. I'm actually trying to figure the whole layout for my frame for my switches and and receptacle. I understand I need to bring power into it which. I guess I'll do a liquidtite whip from my j box with the power. Bit it looks like it has holes on the end for screw for it to be mounted to something . Not sure how I'd arrange that. Anyone have pics.

Are the 3 lights for the pool or is 2 for the pool and 1 for a spa? If all are for pool, then 1 switch is needed on your frame. You would add a 4th conduit near the 3 light pipes. connect all 3 lights to one line (in the new 4th conduit) which leads to a switch that has power.

I just added pics to previous thread..thought I did. I have see some of these that are just mounted on the conduits without being screwed down on the ends. Guess I don't have to worry about placing something under the ends to screw down to?
