And... they beat the rain! Finished up about 30 minutes ago. Been a light drizzle ever since.

It was raining all morning glad they got it done!
Hopefully we get a break for a few days, they put down all fresh top soil the day before we started getting all this rain. I still need to get decking completed and plaster. We are scheduled right now to get decking on Tuesday.

Pretty! I like the color and size of the stones. They have done a good job of mixing up the colors, textures, and sizes.

Thanks! We're very pleased with how it's turning out. Left town again yesterday afternoon but before we did they had started on the tile.
Got back in town this afternoon to coping, tile, and stone all done as well as well as additional decking prepped for pouring! Things continue to move along much faster than we ever imagined!
Time to decide on decking color. Narrowed it down to these three. Of course, the samples are in a different order in all three pictures, poor planning on my part. They're called (from left to right in this first image) Dallas Rock, Sanchez Beige, and Houston Tan. At the moment we are leaning towards Dallas Rock.
I agree with nini on the Houstan Tan. The Dallas rock has too much yellow to me. BUT they all would work with your area and be cooler on the feet so you cannot go wrong.

I also like the Houston tan, but that's because I live in Houston! Really, though, I think any could work, but I do prefer the tan.
Appreciate the input, everyone. We've come full circle overnight, particularly after looking at the samples against the coping under an overcast sky, and are leaning towards Houston Tan as well.
Additional decking was poured today. CM is telling me unless we have any rain delays he is hoping to have equipment here and hooked up early next week then plaster most likely on Thursday or Friday. Pretty blown away by how quickly and painlessly this build has gone consider we are two days shy of the 1 month mark.
