Will have a rectangular pool with spa. perimeter of pool is 113 lf. I am getting quoted at 219 lf for coping including the rbb and wall caps. Can someone help me understand if the pool perimeter is 113 (spa will go into and around pool so maybe add 25 feet for perimeter for spa cap with room for spillway). The response I got from my sub is that pool is 12", spa is 18" but not sure what that even means. obviously will call for more clarification but wondering if you guys can help explain.

screen shot attached of the drawing. Thanks!

What type of coping are you planning to install?

What dimensions does the coping come in as it effects wastage?

That's a sqft price. 18" coping adds 1.5 times the linear length. Then add in wall caps and overhangs and the wasted coping making perfect 45s to miter corners amd then the general waste. He may be high with the overall but on average I need 40 to 50% more material than the paper sqft number
