Pool Build -- Annapolis, MD

I love it. I hope the plants survive. My husband has killed darn near every plant I've planted in the yard. We've had some run ins and I tell him, keep killing them n you'll keep buying them! See if that gets him riled up! LOL

Helen, beautiful pool.

I'm in Severna Park and have a great guy who opens/closes my pool and costs less than anyone in the area. He's also replaced a pool pump and repaired my leaking pond (and removed a waterfall and did some new stone work).

PM me if you want his contact name.

I posted my pool pics in the intro section. It's nice, but not new and "flash" like yours. I really like what you've done.

Happy New Year and enjoy your new pool!

Loved reading all your steps and seeing the pics…quick on the turnaround for your permit. I live in the critical area and had to wait a month for the return of the permit. WE also did ours recently and actually did our plaster and water in mid October and we closed in December. We did have to do a lot of the brushing in some chilly weather but it wasn't too bad. We have had a decent winter here so far. I did have a issue with high PH after we closed it but was easily fixed with MA and a circulating pump. Love the end product… We chose to fill our pool with the hose…it is cheaper and actually if you didn't know this already yo can write the county and they will give you a credit for the amount of gallons you fill your pool with since that water does not need to be treated. They will credit the sewer portion which is the more expensive part. you end up paynh close to 700 bucks around here for water delivered. Some people told me you could ask the fire dept. but not sure if that is still allowed.
