Poly-pig????

Lee,

In Layman's terms it means you are being fed a line of pure bull!!! There is no such thing as "Breakpoint" and I have never heard of anyone cleaning their "Main Lines"..

You really need to read though our Pool School and quit talking with people that just want to sell you something.

See this link... Pool School - Pool School

The best way to take care of your pool is to understand how it works and only add what is needed. The other option is to believe in magic and magic potions. Which sounds better to you?

Thanks,

Jim R.

Sooooo...what you are saying is.....there's no pig named "Polly?"
I'm a believer in "magic" But totally clueless when it comes to pools. So I will take your much-appreciated advice and stick to Learning Pool School. My head is swimming, studying pool chemistry and you have just saved me having to read more than I can deal with at this point.
Cheers!

A 'Pig' per-se is a clean-out plug that's sized to fit a pipe of a particular size. It's either pulled through a pipe with a tow cable, or pushed through a pipe using pressure. They're used in a lot of industrial applications where buildup or scaling is a problem. I've never heard of one being used in a pool.

I assume that 'Poly-Pig' is a plug made of some 'poly' (urethane, ethylene, propylene, etc.) material that they hope to drag or push through your pool plumbing in order to clean out all the buildup in your wallet.

Also, since you have an above ground pool, you can just remove the plumbing and inspect it if you think it needs it (which it doesn't).

It’s an old baquacil superstition scam hustle.
A poly bristle brush to ream Baqua goo & checkbooks.
