Pollen Bombs go BOOM

See if there's a Pinch a Penny or an industrial chemical supplier that will sell and refill 2.5 gal containers near you. It's almost always the cheapest way to go. They usually sell 10%+ which makes it even easier. Napco in Houston does this. Not sure who supplies in Austin.

Chris

Thanks, but unfortunately Ive already checked with all the pool supply companies in my area (they all only sell the 4x gallons at crazy prices) and I only found one chemical supply company - and they dont offer sodium hypochlorite ?

Looks like it's Walmart or Lowes for me...

Same here with my local HEB. I was giving them $100/mo business in bleach sales. Now they wanna pick my pocket for the same price with lower concentration bleach? I’ll be moving on to either homedepot HDx or Walmart pool solutions @10%.

I’ve always asked businesses the same question, would you rather take my $100/mo and keep me happy? Or do you like to Tick off your customers and get ZERO dollars from me?

I just used up my last 8.25% - All the local HEBs had been out of the "Regular" for days right when we were getting bombarded by all the oak pollen. Now they have the new redesigned label of course I immediately confirmed the percentage and died a little inside. HEB, why hast thou forsaken me?

In all seriousness, who has done the math? Where's our best liquid bleach deal for Austinites now? I went to the Sunset Valley Walmart, and not a single bottle of the Pool Essentials 10% stuff. I wish I could have bought a pallet of the HEB stuff for the summer before they changed it..then again not sure where I would have put a pallet of bleach. Costco has 3 bottles of Clorox 6% for $11 - weak.

The walmart 10% at 3.64 when they bother to stock it is the best deal now I guess?

*EDIT* I see home depot shows 3 packs of *128* ounces of 10% for 9.98 and it shows if I buy 4 or more i get it for 8.98! Looks like I am going to get a dozen and see how it goes...I hope they aren't still storing these things outside.

They dont care. HEB is not what they were 10-20 years ago. Profits are obviously now their top concern - not you going home a hero!
