I have a PB4SQ installed less than a year and is pouring water from the bottom. I made claim with pool installer who said they would be here the following week. That was a month ago. How do I fix this pump so my pool can be properly cleaned. I am a disabled vet on a fixed income but willing to fix it myself. Are there instructions and parts list?

Welcome to TFP.

Here is a recent thread on repairing a leaking PB4SQ.

Your pump should be under warranty and Polaris should repair or replace it.

There have been many reports of PB4SQ pumps leaking.

See page 15 in https://www.polarispool.com/-/media...4300.pdf?rev=7e3f9183dd3e4f9eaba4a736a1cba1e1

Post pics showing where the leak is from.

Less than a year - should be under warranty. You should be able to start a claim with Fluidra (parent company) if you can't get the installer to do it. Usually, but now always, Polaris will just have a new pump installed.

Unfortunately, if it is leaking through the body itself and there is no warranty, the only "fix" is to replace the body. They run about $160.00 online. Remove the hoses, remove 4 bolts. The new body should come with the needed O rings to reassemble the unit. Relatively easy repair.

If it is leaking from the shaft seal, it will require the unit be dis-assembled (many parts), a new shaft seal (R0747800), and the O rings for the body.
