I was having issues with my 360- mostly getting stuck in the corner. I tried all possible thrust jet locations with no avail. Turns out my ball bearings were bad. I replaced them using this video:

Polaris Stuck in Corner, Changing the bearings- Polaris 360, 380 - YouTube

It is much easier than it looks. And it made a huge difference. Now when it hits a wall, it climbs and steers back in, instead of just staying there. parts are cheap, and it took me less than 1hr to replace.
Also one of the screws that tightens the belts was loose. My point is, don't be scared to get under the hood. You will be glad you did.

Thanks for this post. I've got a 3900 that had been acting really sluggish, basically it would find a corner and chill for 3-4 hours. 8 new bearings and it's as energetic as new. Took longer to go to the pool store and drive back than the repair itself.

I'm curious, usually when bearings go bad the first symptom is noise. You wouldn't notice any noise from these with it being underwater. Aside from it being sluggish (which could be due to a number of factors), are there any other symptoms? I just ordered a bunch of maintenance parts for my 360, but I didn't think to do the bearings.

Regarding getting stuck in the corner, is your backup valve working? It should cycle every 3.5 minutes and pull the cleaner out of the corner.

I have not had other symptoms. Backup valve is working fine.

Note that I also tightened the belt, so maybe that's what fixed the issue.
