So I have a Polaris booster pump, that’s making horrible noises when you turn it on again, this year. This is our second pump in two years. Do they not normally last that long? It’s in a vented shed, so it’s covered and pretty cool. We had in winterized as well. It’s a pb4-60. I doubt they will warranty it again, but they should really last more than a year each...any thoughts?

Sounds like bearings have failed. I have seen kits for sale, though I had trouble getting the impeller off on our pump.
