Polaris Booster pump and Multiport valve repair replacement

Green wire is ground. There should be a green screw in the threaded hole just above and to the left of the wire in the picture. Don't leave it dangling, it will touch a hot terminal and short. Don't leave it disconnected as it is needed for safety.

Ok I’ve gotten everything hooked up to this point but I can’t remember where this green wire goes?

Yep exactly either..i kicked in regular pump but it still has a delay before it will activate and it did. Thanks again for your help.

Today was at the old house and kicked on booster pump. It’s running fine right now but for about 10 min it was kicking off and on after about 5-10 seconds or run time .

Been running the last 5 minutes no problem, any idea what that means?

Kicking off and on meaning the breaker was tripping?

Or starting and stopping without tripping the breaker? That could be the thermal switch in the motor tripping. How hot is the motor getting?

Is it making lots of noise that it shouldn't be?
If so, the motor bearings could be going bad, which can result in heating & tripping the thermal protect switch (polyfuse) in the motor as @ajw22 is saying.

Sorry to follow up, no it was just kicking on and off like someone was flipping a switch. Then it stayed on and ran fine. Havent had any issues since. I really have no idea.
