I am selling my house and as part of that I need to make some repairs to my pool.

My booster pump is leaking and my multiport has a crack.

1) Booster pump, do I need to replace the entire thing or just the motor? If I get someone to install how much approx is part and a reasonable amount of labor?

Do I need this whole thing or just the motor?

2)Multiport is cracked, I have tried liquid nails and such with no luck....what should this part cost and how much for install?

You need pentair 261152 multiport valve from wherever you can get it.

Post pic of the entire booster pump.

Carefully cut that off the conduit without hitting the wires. You need to get a non-metallic 1/2" conduit end. This is the part, you only need one, not the 5 listed.

Ok thank you....and the piece that is left inside the motor i can just break out of there?

So I took the pump the leslies to see if they could replace the seals in it...motor sounds good so hoping to get it repaired before going new.

If the pump is just leaking, not frozen and not whining, and still moves the robot; just repair the piece that is cracked. IF you can get the parts. Another option is to look on Craigslist for a rebuilt booster pump. There are generally plenty out there.

I wouldn't try to repair a cracked multiport. Get a new one.

Yep so I didnt know leslies does booster pump repairs like they do cleaners...no labor parts only...which i know parts are still high but better than a new pump so hopefully thats what I get.

I already tried to repair the multiport and it didnt work..so gonna replace it. I am selling the house so I want to get these leaks fixed but without going overboard.

$80 in parts at Leslie’s and it’s fixed…well hopefully, ill get it hooked back up tomorrow.

Any suggestion on getting that old
Conduit off?

Its glued and needs to be carefully cut off. Very sharp knife and go slow so as to not nick the wires inside or remove the other end, slide conduit past the wires, cut the broken part off.
As a " let's try this," you could try crushing it with pliers, whack it with a hammer. They weren't designed to be glued to flex conduit and may break off somewhat easily.
