Does anyone use any type of plastic hooks to hang stuff on the side of the pool such as the solar cover or anything like that?

Most of the ones I have seen were mounted on 4x4 poles so as to not stress the pool walls.

I have yet to put them up. I have one of these
for my hose. Goes on the fence post, looks great.

Hehe... This is not a suggestion, but I remembered that we did it long ago.
i made my solar cover out of some pvc, makes it real easy to take cover off from outside the pool, and pull back on while in the pool.
