My heading sounds farfetched, but a neighbor and RC hobbyist flies planes with his buddies in the field behind our house. One lost control today and crashed nose down onto our pool railing causing a severe dent. Only one section of railing is affected. The guys came up and offered to replace the torn tarp and the railing. As a first-time pool owner, I'm not confident that it can be done.
The current plan is to order the part from Amazon and wait until spring. At that point we would lower the water level to almost nil, pull only the affected piece and replace with a new one. It seems to me that the angles at which the pool frame fit together might make this far more difficult than they think. Does anyone here have experience replacing a piece of top railing on a Coleman/Bestway pool (20' if that matters)?
While I greatly appreciate their desire to "make it right", I remember the struggle to assemble in the first place....
