Hey guys!!
Total rookie here and I give thanks in advance.

I’ve learned so much thus far with this forum, and totally appreciate it. But I’m still confused because some folks in various threads say to place pavers at ground level, while others state to put pavers at foam board height. Can Someone please clarify for me???
Tomorrow I’ll be leveling and installing a 16’ intex round ABG. I’ve bought 1” foam board and 4” high pavers. 8”x16” l x w to be exact.

Thanks again

So, if you are using rigid foam that will not compress much under thousands of gallons of water, level the pavers on solid ground and dig them in deep enough so that the top is level with the foam. Otherwise, sink your pavers where their tops are level to the ground surface.

Thanks so much again for your reply! This is the board I got from bin box...

will this compress? How can one tell if it compress?

That foam is fine and should hold up well.
