Piping Leak

Hey all,

Just bought my first home, I had a pool inspection as a part of my home inspection and the inspector noted that the pool filter piping had a leak. I attached a picture of the location of the leak as well

I'm very new to this so I'm curious is this a major issue? Trying to figure out if I need to have a pool service company do a deeper inspection/repair job or if this is more DIY territory

Welcome to the forum

That looks as if it has been repaired before and is in a difficult place so it may not be a DIY item if you have not worked with pvc before.

How much is it leaking? Drips? Gusher?
