Just ordered my heat pump last week. Been racking my brain on which route to plumb it across the equp pad. Was sitting on the patio today and it dawned on me. If I cut out the puck feeder and add a SWG, I can route the pipes a different way and it'll look nice and neat. So, I came in and sale pitched the wife, and she gave me a thumbs up:)

My pool is 14,750gal with a 2.7hp vsp pushing it.

I've looked at all the SWG's. I just don't know who's who and what's what.

Just throwing ideas out there. Are they a reputable company? ^^^

Point me in the right direction and I'll get one ordered.

Thank you

Many folks here have Circupool SWG's.

I think you get a better deal here. And they usually offer an upgrade to the next size for $1...

Get a cell that is at least 2X your pool volume. So at least a 30K cell for you.

You don't have any automation or are thinking of getting it?

Either will work great and will will be happy with any of them.

The Core will be the easiest to install.
The RJ is proven and have been around forever
The Edge ( What I have ) is called the "next gen" but not sure that means a lot :)

I do like the Edge so far and going on my 3rd season, I like how it controls output and the power supply has no moving parts.
Its is a newer model so not proven like the RJ stuff.

No I don't. I'm not a big automation guy. But, curiosity killed the cat. Why you ask? Are there systems better designed for automation?

Automation can usually control a SWG from the same manufacture so that you can adjust it through the automation. You lose that ability if you mix manufacturers.

I have mine running at 30% power for 8 hours a day.
This year I did bump my salt levels from 2800 ( me and my minimums ) to 3800 and I keep having to turn it down :)
Does seem to like higher levels.

Send us pictures when you get it installed.

If your at 23,000, I won't be taxing it at all. Will do.
