Actually, that is the guy who runs my sump pump 24/7.. Turns out they put my pool in the middle of a small stream, just enough to keep the gunite weeping for 3 or 4 months until they added two 25 foot long and 6 foot deep French drains that feed into a 10 foot deep pit with a sump pump in the bottom.. It cycles off and on, but it never shuts off for more than a few minutes, even in the middle of our hottest summers...
